Self-employed: Producing egg plants, watermelon , tomato and cabbage for sale

Participating in the 21st International Students Summit in Japan was transformative. It allowed me to connect with peers and experts from diverse backgrounds, broadening my understanding of global agricultural practices and environmental challenges. The summit emphasized the importance of innovation in addressing food security and inspired me to adopt sustainable practices in my work. Personally, it boosted my confidence to expand my farming operations and advocate for sustainability in my community.

I have applied insights from the summit on my one-acre horticulture farm, improving productivity through sustainable agriculture and efficient water management. Techniques like deficit irrigation and organic pest control have reduced environmental impact. I also share these practices with fellow farmers and participate in local forums to promote food security and environmental protection.

Moving forward, I plan to expand my farm, diversify crops, and start a poultry business to integrate resources and increase income. Additionally, I aim to pursue a Master’s degree in sustainable agriculture, train smallholder farmers, and form partnerships to enhance food security and sustainability.
