I had the privilege of participating in the Tenkai Online Course ( November 24, 2023- March 4,2024) and a Short- Term Exchange Programs (CIEP from July 20th to 30th, 2024, and ISS from July 31st to August 3,2024). These experiences expanded my Knowledge and gave me a global perspective on sustainable food practices, environmental conservation, and quality assurance. During the CIEP, I discovered Hokkaido’s approach to sustainable agriculture, where strategic planning supports long-term environmental goals. I now bring these insights to m role as a Quality Assurance Intern at Healthy U company, where I ensure food safety and sustainability across the production and supply chain, inspired by Japan’s high standards. My current role was inspired by my ISS presentation on safety of slenderleaf vegetables, which strengthen my commitment to quality assurance in food processing. Looking forward, I aim to pursue a master’s degree in nutraceuticals, with a focus on herbal products like matcha tea and seaweed soups, which I encountered in Japan and see as valuable for promoting health and wellness.
