Neema Iddi Mchanja

My name is Neema Iddi Mchanja, and I am currently an Agriculture Officer at the Tanzania Cotton Board. I participated in the Tenkai program from December 5, 2022, to March 2, 2023, particularly in the Tenkai online course.

The Tenkai program has been transformative, equipping me with essential skills and a fresh perspective on leadership and innovation. It expanded my understanding of strategic planning, teamwork, and resilience, which I now incorporate into both my professional and personal life. Since completing the course, I have applied my knowledge by leading community workshops on sustainable agriculture, mentoring local youth in business skills, and initiating community projects. These efforts have benefited my community and strengthened my role as a leader, entrepreneur, and mentor.

Looking ahead, I plan to expand my initiatives to reach more communities, start a social enterprise, and pursue further studies in agriculture. The Tenkai program has inspired me to think bigger and continue making a positive impact.
