I am glad the programs pioneered my travelling experience beyond Kenya and was such as a joy to my family. It gave me a broader view of the agricultural industry - at the global level and made more international friends. The skills gained through ISS enhanced my fourth-year project research, presentation and reporting. The programs greatly contributed to my leadership and career foundation that involves pitching our solution to the executive team of our prospect customers, in the flower industry. I always use my experience in Japan as one of the testimonies when talking to young people about agriculture and as a career worth pursuing. I am looking forward to growing in my career and as a food and financial donor to the global level.
