Gladness Elibariki Kaaya

I am Gladness Elibariki Kaaya, currently interning as a Forest Garden Assistant Field Officer. In 2023, I had the honor of participating in the 22nd International Student Summit at Tokyo NODAI, where I joined peers from around the world to discuss critical issues in food, agriculture, and environmental sustainability. This summit profoundly enhanced my understanding of sustainable farming practices and global food systems, inspiring me to make a positive impact in my own community.

Since then, I have actively applied this knowledge in my role with the Forest Garden project in Tanzania, assisting farmers in adopting sustainable methods to boost productivity and conserve local ecosystems. Looking ahead, I am committed to advocating for sustainable agriculture by empowering local communities with practical strategies that enhance food security, promote organic farming, and support environmental stewardship.
