Martha David Biseko

My name is Martha David Biseko, a recent graduate from Sokoine University of Agriculture. I am exploring ways to apply my university knowledge to improve conditions in my community.

I participated in the Tenkai online course from November 24, 2023, to March 4, 2024, on “Japan Food Systems for Food and Nutrition Improvement in Africa.” This experience profoundly influenced my career and personal development, strengthening my skills and deepening my commitment to sustainable development, food security, and the goal of Zero Hunger.

Additionally, I joined the International Students Summit (ISS) held from July 31 to August 3 at Tokyo University of Agriculture. This program equipped me with practical knowledge and a valuable network of professionals, empowering me to implement impactful projects. Since then, I have organized local workshops to apply these insights and followed up on shared lessons. I am grateful to Tokyo University of Agriculture’s Center for Global Initiatives and look forward to furthering this journey of meaningful change.
